Busy Week

Man, it’s really good to have a long weekend, but gee whiz; the work piles up when you have to come in.  I am behind on my blog postings, but I have kept up with my readings.  I have been taking my lunch on Roy’s Deck he has built over his pond.  It is very tranquil.

Day 154
2 Samuel 3:22-5:5
Acts 1:1-22
Psalm 69:13-28

Day 155
2 Samuel 5:6-6:23
Acts 1:23-2:21
Psalm 69:29-36

Tongue speaking confuses me.  I would like to believe that instead of God twisting tongues, he just modified their ability to hear.

Memorial Day weekend

Great bust into summer!  Started out Friday with a softball game with Kenney, Alice, and myself.  We went out to eat afterwards and had a couple of drinks.  Saturday Ricky had a cookout for the All-Star girls, and I swam most of that day (it was really hot).  On Sunday I went to church, and afterwards went to Dev’s grandparents then my mom and dad cooked out for us.  It was another hot and muggy day.

On Monday we set up the pool, and cooked out for my parents.  I did a couple of Bible readings at church on Sunday (betweeen setup and church start).  I didn’t have a chance to blog them.

Tuesday night I had a softball game with “The Rock” and we lost by one run.

Catch up day:  I had a thought a couple of chapters ago in 1 Samuel.  I think Saul was bi-polar.
